Seco South offers a large variety of cable and panel handrail systems that are constructed out of stainless steel and aluminum. The number three brushed finish, also referred to as a number 180 grit and powder coating, is used as the standard finish on all of our railing systems. We offer our stainless steel handrail systems in both welded and component styles so that contractors, fabricators and those who prefer to do it themselves can easily install them. Accommodations for core drill applications or surface and fascia mountings can also be provided. All of Seco South's stainless steel handrail systems are engineered to comply with commercial and residential code requirements, which are available upon request.

Cable Handrail Systems:  AP1-2000  /  FB1-2000  /  FB3-2000  /  RP1-2000  /  SP1-2000  /  VC1-2000

Stainless steel or aluminum vertical balusters and grab rail form the framework of our cable handrail systems, while the safety infill consists of either a 1/8 or 3/16 inch diameter 1x19 cables. Our railing systems are available in both Type 304 and Type 316 stainless steel. Type 304 stainless steel is used for interior and exterior applications where there is no concern about corrosion. It also has the advantage of being more economical. Type 316 stainless steel is used mainly for exterior applications where corrosion can occur, such as near saltwater environments, chlorinated pools, industrial manufacturing and large transportation facilities. Cable handrails offer a sleek, modern, uninterrupted view as well as provide maximum ventilation and exceptionally low maintenance.

Panel Handrail Systems:  SPG1-2000  /  SPG2-2000

Our panel handrail systems are also built from stainless steel or aluminum following the same framework design as our cable railing systems. However, by using a panel system with an alternative infill we can offer all of our standard system designs for glass panel, perforated panel and wire mesh handrails. A combination of cable and panel handrail systems is also available. Cables are conjoined with smaller glass panels acting as signage to create a functional and informational solution. These systems provide a unique design option for professional designers.

Q-Line Handrail Systems:  DL1-2000  /  SL1-2000

As with all of our handrail systems, Q-line railing is also crafted from stainless steel or aluminum. They are generally built from a 1 ½ inch diameter round profile but a 1 ½ inch square profile is also available. Q-line handrails are typically used by designers in spaces where railing is not required by code and are utilized to guide people in certain directions or keep them from roaming into areas that are off-limits.
