Cable Shelving Systems

Seco South offers many shelving options for all of your needs. The most popular and aesthetically pleasing of these is the cable shelving system, which is ideal for any project or decorative purpose in the home or office. All of these come with a 1/8" diameter cable that supports the entire system. The cable assembly itself is made of steel, while the attachments and shelves are made of a special electroless nickel-coated aluminum. The aluminum allows us to adjust and customize color and save money, which in turn also saves you money too. We offer red, blue, black, and clear color options for our cable shelving units.

The shelves themselves can be made of either wood or glass, and come in two different thicknesses, 1/2" and 3/8", depending on your personal needs. These are either 8" or 1' deep and can hold a variety of items from books to decorations. All you need to be sure of is that you can find a stud or a joist to attach your cable shelving system to, and you will have no issue in installing these strong, durable, classic shelving units.

Our different models are as follows:

System 2000-1: contains a 1/8" cable which goes from floor to ceiling and works extremely well for display purposes such as behind bar counters or inside large closed-in display cases for awards, dolls, or trophies.

System 2000-2: contains a 1/8" cable that only attaches to the wall behind and below the shelves, which saves your floor space. This system is ideal for areas where you have a limited amount of space and can't afford to lose the floor space such as in offices or behind counters at libraries, etc.

System 2002 Double Unit: uses a 1/8" cable and attaches the same way as the regular sized 2000-2 system, but is twice as wide, which is ideal for spaces that need to leave the floor space open, but are available to be used for larger amounts of storage space. Ideal for garages, law offices, and pharmacies.

System 2000-3: comes with a 1/8" cable and attaches to the ceiling, wall, and floor. This is a great idea for the kitchen or bathroom and would be great for storing things such as medical records, curios, and in children's rooms.
