Our custom built, stainless steel spiral staircase becomes an architectural gem at a building steeped in history with the opening of the new south beach brand of Mango’s Tropical Cafe on I-Drive in Orlando.

One wouldn’t even be able to recognize that the new Mango’s on International Drive used to be the home of T.G.I. Friday’s Front Row, except for the fact that Mango’s preserved and displays at the front entrance, a number of celebrity handprints that were concreted as part of the original building opening in the 1990s.

Offering views of the Orlando Eye and the StarFlyer, owner David Wallack pulled out all the stops when it came to designing a unique, sleek, stainless steel glass staircase for his 55,000 square foot, Latin-inspired night club and restaurant. Combine this with over 500 linear feet of stainless and glass railing along the interior and exterior mezzanines and balconies and you have something truly impressive and the first of its kind in the Orlando area.

Working with Miami’s U.S. Construction and L2 Studios, we custom designed the spiral staircase by using a horizontal welded tube system combining our SPG1-2000 stainless steel railing product as well as other custom components. The result: an architectural masterpiece for Mango’s which is not only highly attractive but which requires low maintenance.
